Start your own Parking Management Company

If you currently work as a ‘Parking Patrol Officer’ or ‘Parking Enforcement Officer’ you may have thoughts of ‘going it alone’ but need support to get started. If so, PCNPro can help you in a number of ways!

In a nutshell – and not wishing to state the obvious – you will need:

That’s quite a list, but every business has a similar list of ‘needs. So, assuming you want to read on, this is how we can help you as a new start up in the parking management industry.

As we said at the outset, PCNPro can help directly with some of the items in the list. On other items we can advise because we have helped and grown with other people who have made the journey to owning and running their own parking management business.

Our web-based management system – PCNPro – manages: client site details, signage allocation, vehicle data, offence details, keeper* details (if required), PCN administrtion, appeals, PCN payment and other important issues.

We can help and advise with the process of obtaining ‘accreditation’ with one of the industry bodies. Accreditation enables parking management companies to request keeper details from the DVLA. Depending on the volumes involved this may require ‘electronic’ requests to a 3rd party organisation in order to obtain this information. PCNPro has a number of methods within it import and export data. This is a massive time saver!

PCNPRo’s inbuilt online payment system enables PCNs to be paid via your website (either directly or indirectly – see ‘PCNPro as a Service‘ and ‘PCNPro as an Integrated Website‘ elsewhere in the Blog). PCNPRo has in-built reports (statements) of income per site, making accounting of income an easy process.

So, we can help in a number of ways if you have ambitions to start a new parking management business. If you already run one, our software may be something you have been looking for. Either way, please contact us. We would be pleased to help.

*Keeper details: Direct ticketing (i.e. windscreen PCN issue) may not require significant keeper detail handling if associated PNCs are paid without challenge. Indirect PCN issue (i.e. PCNs issued by post, will require obtaining keeper details form the DVLA
